In this large piece I restricted myself to mostly black and white and let the dynamic of the composition speak to the viewer. Strong strokes of thick paint were applied with the pallet-knife in fast fluid motions against a black primed canvas, disrupted by splashes of dark red. The whole scene is an abstraction of a car race action scene as seen in the movie I borrowed the title from. Enjoy!
Unique painting using high-quality acrylic colors on professional gallery canvas stretched over solid wooden 4.5 x 3.0 cm stretcher bars (painting depth: 3 cm); canvas is stapled on the back.
Glossy varnish is applied to seal and protect the painting, and to make the colors appear even more lively.
Sides are painted, thus no frame necessary – the painting is ready-to-hang with a hanging wire attached.
Signed on the front and back.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
